Joel Cardis is dedicated to helping emerging growth companies. With an uncommon breadth of skills, depth of experience and an extensive network, he enables entrepreneurs to leverage ideas into action into achievement.
An attorney and consultant to emerging companies, Joel Cardis has extensive experience in and a broad knowledge of startup issues. Having assisted clients resolve a myriad of legal predicaments, Cardis learned first hand how unattended legal problems can become devastating, and how proper legal attention could avoid many problems.
Intrigued with the issues involved in building a new business, he has immersed himself in entrepreneurial concerns and also became lead author of a highly regarded book on venture capital, adding both an entire new field of knowledge and a network of contacts that further strengthened his abilities to help emerging growth companies.
Cardis employs his analytical skills and imagination to identify and prioritize issues, assess options and design, select and execute optimal solutions to successful conclusions. Having lived and worked in the Greater Philadelphia area his entire life, and as lead author of a book on venture capital that features many of the area's leading figures, Mr. Cardis is well known to the entrepreneurial and venture capital community.
An accomplished jazz musician, Mr. Cardis left the law firm where he was a name partner to concentrate on "improvising" with talented people to create and build new businesses. His inventive, practical, hands-on assistance immediately broadens an entrepreneur's ability to leverage ideas into action and action into achievement.
Mr. Cardis is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Dickinson School of Law.
